During the Christmas holidays, a new project was awarded to Van Laere! The rail network between Ghent and Bruges will be doubled across the entire route from two to four tracks, which will consist of several phases. The Aalter-Landegem sub-project will be realised by Van Laere.
We will relocate and lay the side roads, carry out bedding work for the tracks, carry out the renewal of two stops, and realise various works of art. For example, there will be underpasses for cyclists and pedestrians, existing passages will be closed, a bridge will be raised and a tunnel will be “driven through”.
A very challenging project that will start in the first quarter of 2019!
