Last Tuesday, the new Aldi distribution centre in Turnhout was ceremoniously opened by Flemish Energy Minister Lydia Peeters. The centre is to be the most sustainable in Belgium, and even one of the five most sustainable in the world!
With a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, we can be proud of this achievement as part of this wonderful project! This is the highest level within the independent international BREEAM certification system, which measures the sustainability of buildings. More than 90 sustainability parameters were taken into account. The project was delivered within budget and on time, with a very satisfied customer as the end result!
